Vor allem bei den 3D Shootern (wie Halo 3 oder Call of Duty 3) verschafft man sich dadurch einen enormen Vorteil. An die Reaktion und Schnelligkeit der vom PC bekannten Steuerung mit Maus und Tastatur kommt natürlich kein Joystick oder Pad heran.

Wichtig: es wird ein kabelgebundener Xbox360 Controller benötigt damit der XFPS Live funktionieren kann. Wenn Sie nur ein Funk-Controller haben, können Sie den XFPS Adapter nicht in Betrieb nehmen (auch dann nicht, wenn Sie den Funk-Controller mit einem Play & Charge Kit anschliessen). Der Controller wird direkt am XFPS Adapter angeschlossen, damit dieser initialisieren kann. Spielen können Sie natürlich weiterhin mit einem zweiten Funk-Controller. Empfehlenswert für die Benutzung mit dem XFPS Live ist die Maus von Microsoft: IntelliMouse Explorer 4.0 (Platinum).
